JINKS-2002 was organized on 21^th, 22^nd & 23^rd of February 2002. Participants came from scores of colleges including the regulars like RIT-Jamshedpur, BIT-Sindri, ISM-Dhanbad and BIT-Mesra.

A cluster of events, numbering 32,  encompassed the three day festival, where in all 165 prizes were won. And that's not all, many more cash prizes, discount coupons, gift vouchers etc. were distributed at the informals.

The DJ-nite reached its crescendo of pulsting excitement with each sinew of the jumpin jacks shouting out “life ho to aisi” the theme of the cola giant COCA COLA the official sponsor of DJ-NITE

Cultural evening with its 10,000 watts music was set ablaze by the presence of the ‘QUADRILS’ group from Kolkata. We are thankful to our sponsorers SUDHA DAIRY.

The quiz sponsored by STG reached its new heights when nation famed TERRY O BRIEN dried up the wetwares of the participants with his questions.BIT-MESRA won the quiz.

“Entry of china into WTO is good for India” a topic with an economic outlook brought keynes out of the participants in the English debate. The MBA girl of BIT Mesra bagged the laurels of the event sponsored by SBI TIPUDANA .

Now its high time for news about the jinks 2003.

For Highlighting the advertisement of the events and their sponsors, following steps are planned.

	Media merger with a prominent newspaper
	Hoardings to be put up at strategic points
	Photo finish posters displaying name of the sponsorers to be distributed in various institutes.
	E-TV BIHAR,RANCHI DOORDARSHAN,CABLE NEWS-DRISHTI to be invited to cover the events.
	Events to be aired live at important points such as canteen,hostel desk,info desk, in-4-malz arena.

Quiz has been the main event in Jinks, for this

TERRY O BRIEN has been invited for the Quiz. He has been the soul of JINKS for long, and souls don't change.

Dates for JINKS 2003, to be called PHENOMENON - JINKS 2003 .
